I am not a quitter. Except when I am.

Friday was just not my day. If you tried to find The R House, you couldn’t. My server was down for most of the day.

I had deadlines and things. Clients to write for. The ideas were flowing.

But no. The server was down and the Internet was slow. We have 4 networks in this house and none of them were working adequately. Let me tell you something about working at home …nap time is sacred. It’s like work-at-warp-speed time. When nothing is working the way it is designed to it can toss you into a panic.

And nothing was going according to plan. So frustrating.

WHINE. WHINE. WHIN-ITY WHINE.

Then my sweet Gavin found this toy laptop and parked himself in the room adjacent to where I was working, cranked up the volume and played the most annoying music in the world.

My server is down which means my site is down which means I can't write right now which means I am frazzled since it is busy baby's blessed nap time=my only work time today. But don't worry, Gavin just informed me that whenever we are home and not doing s<.
Imagine an ice-cream truck in your front room playing songs that are totally unrecognizable over and over again and your cute little guy just laid out and enjoying every last crazy-making note.

So we called it quits on the zero productivity and lamest of days. We packed ourselves up and we headed to the water park.

Some days are just like that.

Sometimes life is just like that.

You may call it quitting …I call it winning.

It's been one of those frustrating zero productivity days. So we packed it up and went to the water park. I know my limits. You may call it quitting ...I call it winning. Word.

And A LOT more fun.

P.S. The car you are seeing is a Honda Pilot and I don’t like it as much as the Odyssey …you know, in the spirit of full disclosure and all.
